JOSEPH YAKOVETIC has an extensive career as a creative director, award winning designer, art director, innovator, fine artist, instructor, illustrator, sculptor, and performer.  For over twenty-five years, he has worked with the Entertainment Industry in film, theatre, theme park and television.

BIO

With a "Whose Who" of clients, Joseph's work has been showcased on national television and sold internationally. He has illustrated over 50 books, record covers, comic books, paper dolls, ornaments and concept art. This work includes toy design and collateral material, managing a staff of artists to maintain continuity and quality of end product while negotiating pay and set deadlines.

Working traditionally and digitally, he is eager to become more proficient with other design software and hardware.

As a team player, Joseph looks for the best in each person, encouraging them to bring their unique talents to the table. Strong communication skills allow him to interact with his team and enable them to present thoughts and ideas clearly and effectively.

“Surrender Dorothy,” by Yakovetic premiered in 2008 as part of Warner Brothers’ The Ruby Slipper Collection and The Inspirations of Oz Fine Art Exhibition.  This unique piece was a limited edition United States Postage Stamp commemorating the 70th Anniversary of this classic film.
